I. Summary of the case (Part 2)
- Nick requested to check the Camecom's letter.- The letter is not a lawsuit but it is known as "Letter threatening Legal Action"
- According to the letter, it is mentioned as the following:
II. Summary according to Camecom
- Charles bought a secondhand laptop form Camecom without checking properly even if the staff requests to check in advanced or it cannot be refunded or replaced after being bought.
- Next day, Charles is very furious and threaten Carmecom to write (A) many mailing lists to tell people not to buy the laptop. It is happened because the damage of the laptop does not meet the condition of warranty.
- Later, the manager decide to offer an exchange but Charles refuse and ask Camecom to give back his money which is impossible to do.
- When Charles left the shop, he stood outside and told other customers not to (B) buy anything from Carmecom. He did it multiple times and he did this almost and during peaked season (between Chrismas and New Year). Camecom expected a great drop of sale during the period.
- According to the one loyal customer, Charles asked him buy something from another competitor. It is believed that the comepetitor give him gifts,whenever, he ask any customers to buy in the shop.
- To avoid more trouble, Camecom persuaded Charles to leave his (C) address.
- After consulting with the lawyer, Camecom decide to send a "Letter threatening Legal Action" to sue him unless he sign retraction.
